Community Benefit
FUNDS AND VOLUNTEER HOURS

Every year, Community Hospital puts millions of dollars and thousands of hours back into the community to meet healthcare needs and support local organizations. In 2018, we spent more than $171 million and devoted 15,284 volunteer hours under the hospital’s Community Benefit program. We filled in the financial gaps for the care provided that isn’t fully covered by insurance or government programs and for patients who have few or no resources.
